Contruction on Highway Avenue
Due to the inclement weather, repairs have been rescheduled to start on Tuesday, October 3rd. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Town crews will be repairing water infrastructure at the intersection of Highway Avenue and 4th Street North starting
Monday, October 2nd, 2017 Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017. Roads will remain open, but will be slowed down.
While we are hopeful that no water services will be impacted, a brief interruption in water service may be necessary for businesses located on the north side of Highway Ave, between 4th Street and 3rd Street.
Thank you to all residents for your patience as we work through these repairs and to drivers for your vigilance in the construction zone!

Picture Butte Bylaw Enforcement
The Town of Picture Butte, the Town of Coaldale, Town of Coalhurst and the Village of Barons are all happy to announce the commencement of our new bylaw enforcement program, called Coaldale and District Municipal Enforcement.
Four Community Peace Officers (CPOs) will be working various shifts to allow for seven day a week coverage, primarily from the hours of 7 AM until 9:30 PM, however the times may vary due to changes in the Officers' shifts. The four CPOs will be responsible for enforcing all municipal bylaws as well as provincial traffic offences under the Traffic Safety Act.
If you have a question for an officer or have a complaint, you can call 1-844-645-2635. Complaints can also be filed using the new online form. When accessing the link, you may need to adjust your browser to allow pop ups.
When using the online form to submit a complaint, under the heading of "Select a Group", use the drop down arrow and select "Coaldale and District Municipal Enforcement". Once you have made the selection, click on "Write New Online Report" and fill in the information. When finished, it will be sent to an officer on duty and will be dealt with in a timely fashion.
